About me

Hello, I'm Clara de Melo, a recent graduate with a degree in Architecture from the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB) in João Pessoa, Brazil.

Currently, I’m eager to apply the insights gained from my undergraduate studies, bringing my unique perspective as a young South American woman into play. I’m committed to learning quickly and delivering excellent results.

Outside of work, I immerse myself in diverse aspects of visual arts. Whether it’s experimenting with 2D animations to express myself non-verbally, working on graphic design projects, or indulging in amateur photography, I’m constantly exploring. Through these projects, I sharpen my grasp of formal and chromatic balance while honing my skills in artistic conception, often using image editing software.

Experience at the Accessibility Laboratory of UFPB (Lacesse) from February 2019 to November 2021, serving as a general office assistant.

Extension project aimed at developing technical assistance projects in architecture and urbanism, using a participatory process, in the municipality of Conde (Paraíba).

Student Union

Member of the Architecture and Urbanism Course Student Union (CACAU) from November 7, 2017, to May 11, 2019, responsible for managing events and addressing students’ needs. This experience also involved participation in the Organizing Committee of the VIII Moment of Architecture and Urbanism of UFPB (VIII MAU), held in August 2018.

Proficient in the software at an advanced level, specializing in creating architectural details and drawings. Skilled in utilizing dynamic blocks and configured layers, proficient in setting up plotting, pen styles, dimensions, annotation styles, hatching, and other features.

SketchUp and Layout

Proficient in the software at a advanced level for 3D modeling of interior and architectural projects, utilizing editable components, plugins for workflow optimization, layers, and display style configurations. Also skilled in Layout for SketchUp, adept at creating architectural boards for interior projects and furniture detailing. Proficient in utilizing page settings, stamps, graphic annotations, and visualization adjustments.

Intermediate proficiency in the software, with experience in developing architectural projects at the preliminary study level.

Microsoft Office

Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, at an advanced level.

Proficient at an intermediate level in Adobe software, used in combination to create architectural diagrams, with a particular focus on Photoshop for renderings post-production.
